Michael Kees

Bon vivant & your expert on mountains & tours

Involved in Hotel Salzburg since his 20th birthday, Michael Kees, who took over the family business from his father in 2000, not only knows the Heurigenstube restaurant inside out, but also the mountains around it. Skiing, ski touring, mountain biking or golf – he's in his element when he's outdoors. Since his 50th birthday out and about on his e-bike as well, he's happy to advise you on your summer & winter tours.

Barbara Kees

Power woman & heart of the hotel bar

At Hotel Salzburg since 1997, married to Michael for over 25 years and simply indispensable – Barbara Kees is the heart and soul of this house. With an open ear for guests & team alike, she takes care of the perfect holiday feeling. Whether on the mountain bike or ski touring – what matters most to her is great company. In the evenings she mixes cocktails at the hotel bar, chats with guests and ensures easy-going vibes & a great atmosphere.

Lisa Kees

Marketing pro, event lover & always up for fun

Marketing, social media or events – Lisa Kees has got the big picture. After finishing Bad Hofgastein School of Tourism, she studied in Innsbruck and got her Master's degree in Marketing. Today she works in the event industry, but in her spare time she loves to be out in nature – skiing, ski touring or hiking. Anything, just outdoor. Festivals in all of Europe? Ready anytime! And for good drinks & cool stories, you can find her at the hotel bar.

Kilian Kees

Junior host, bike fan & creative head behind the videos

Currently still at Bad Hofgastein School of Tourism, but already very involved in Hotel Salzburg: Kilian Kees loves cooking, is interested in events and shoots cool mountain bike & ski videos for the hotel & Insta. In the summer he takes teenage guests along on the trails, while skiing is on the agenda in the winter. Festivals? With pleasure! Kilian is laid-back, creative & full of energy, too – it never gets boring with him.
